Busy weekend in Seattle

We took advantage of one of my Microsoft perks this weekend which includes discounted pricing at many of Seattle's kid friendly attractions. We had a blast at the Seattle Aquarium and the Children's Museum on Saturday. Of course- I forgot to bring my camera so I don't have any action shots of Braylon but the trip can be summed up in one of Bray's most common words- "More"! We'll go back for more shots with a camera and more time exploring these fun places again now that we know how much he loves them. Both places have so many cool things for kids. You should have seen the way Braylon "shopped" at the play grocery store at the Children's museum- makes me proud! He even dressed up in a fireman jacket and hat- it was a perfect photo op missed!
On Sunday, Braylon and I met up with Julie and her son, Jackson at the Pacific Science Center. The main exhibit was trains, which would have been great but how can you tell a 1 1/2 yr old- "don't touch the trains?" when Bray has his own train able at home that he CAN touch. I did remember my camera on Sunday, so I was able to get a few action shots of the boys together.
In other news- I am getting bigger by the day. I love my pregnancy and meeting Kalia is just right around the corner. I am terrible about getting pictures of myself because I am always the one taking pictures. I need to get better about having someone take photos of me with Kalia in my belly or else Kalia going to wonder why I have no pregnancy photos of her when she's old and wise like her mother ha ha! I have started my "girl" collection of clothing but I'm also trying to do a good job of containing myself.
Next weekend- we're going to Mariner's Fanfest and celebrating Pa's birthday which was actually yesterday on the 19th! Braylon loves a good birthday party and being with the family.
I promise to post pictures soon of these events.

Belated Merry Christmas Blog and Happy New Year...

We had a wonderful Christmas season. We split time between families and Braylon managed to take it all in. Jens was even able to make it over from Hawaii- so that was an extra special treat for us.
Braylon is still not a big "fan" of Santa but he managed to warm up a little bit towards the end of all the holiday season.
With the Christmas decorations put away at Grandpa/Grandma's and Mammy and Pa's- we hear Braylon saying "oh-no" when he goes into the rooms where the decorations once were. He's better once we tell him- "next year Braylon- we'll decorate again".
