October weekend

We had a busy weekend with going to the Pumpkin patch and Elle's first birthday party at the Walker's house.


Ruth, Rob, Braylon and I headed out to The Farm in Snohomish on Saturday. We had great Fall weather to pick out pumpkins. There was so much to do for kids and Braylon had a ton of fun walking around the pumpkin patch and petting the farm animals. He really liked the pigs. The Kettle Corn was a big hit, too!

We celebrated Elle's 1st birthday party with friends and family. Everyone had a great time and Elle seemed to enjoy her celebration. Braylon loves a good party but his favorite part was probably the cupcake.

Braylon looks a little under the weather because he had double ear infections when I took the picture. He was also having some kind of allergic reaction to his medication. He's happy and healthy now. So far- he's excited to be a big brother.

Apple Squeeze 2008

Braylon and I went to the Apple Squeeze this past Sunday, with Grandpa and Grandma. The weather didn't really cooperate when we got there but luckily- Braylon had his trusty little one piece Seahawk raingear jumper that Will bought for him. Let's just say that Braylon has a few sports clothing items in his closet. Now that Bray is wearing "big" boy clothing- Will is excited for the officially licensed gear that his little mini-me can wear. As Bray's mother- as long as the clothes he is wearing match and look presentable- I'm ok with Will dressing Braylon sports gear.
It's getting harder to get a "still" picture of Braylon because he's always on the GO! Meaning- I am always on the go now, too! Of course- I don't expect to slow down for the next 18 years anyway.










Next week- Nick, Lisa and Elle will be here from Palm Springs. Oh my goodness, are we excited to see them! Elle will be turning 1, so we're so happy to celebrate her big day with everyone. Braylon will love having her littliest girl cousin here to chase around for a few days.

Fall Activities

We're enjoying the last nice warm days. The weekends never seem long enough and Mondays seem to come too fast.
This past weekend, we went to Teagan's 3rd birthday party at Jump Planet. Braylon seemed to mainly enjoy the water fountain because the large bouncy toys seemed too big and overwelming for him. He DID enjoy the huge cupcake that he was able to devour as fast as he could before I swiped it from him.


























We went to brunch with Mammy and Pa, Janie, Alan and Rich and Lynne Norris on Sunday at Oakbrook Golf and Country Club so the Norris' could officially meet Braylon in the flesh. Braylon was, of course his normal funny and charming self. I finally conceded to getting another haircut for Braylon because Grandma Magelssen was talking about putting his bangs back in a barrette. Braylon fell asleep on the way to the barber so Will held him and by the time he woke up, the haircut was over. NO tears for either Braylon or Mommy this time, and the haircut turned out fabulous! Thanks Mimi!

This weekend- we're going to head to the Steilacoom Apple Squeeze. Last year- we had a blast, so we're hoping for a good time this year as well.
