One Weekend in January

We had a great family weekend with our friends, the Blackburns. Is it really a surprise to anyone that we did lots autographing, Mariner's FanFest and more Sonics? Will and I sat courtside for Sunday's game against Sacramento. Mammy and Pa took good care of Braylon while we were at the game.(thank you thank you!)

Check out the picture of me and Steve Ballmer at the Sonics game. We sat in back of him. (I found his wallet and handed it back to him, it had fallen out of his pocket and he didn't realize it)

B is for Busy!

Braylon is a busy little boy these days. We can't leave him anywhere without watching him. He's into EVERYTHING... The joys of learning!

Our Holiday Card

Look for Happy New Year's cards in the mail from our family very shortly. They've arrived and I'm working on getting them addressed and mailed asap. I figured that rather than stress myself out over the holidays by working on a Christmas card that wouldn't arrive on time, I'd do New Years cards from now on.

Extra, Extra Read All About It!

I have started this blog to keep friends and family up to date on our little family. With family and friends located in various parts of the country, I think this will be a nice way to let you know what's going on with us. Plus- I know you want to see pictures of Braylon, don't you?

I look forward to keeping you updated on the Life of The Walkers.

Happy Reading-

Faith

Signed up for the Gym

Will and I are going to start going to the gym together. We checked out the on-site daycare for Braylon which should work out just fine. I had a gazillion questions for the babysitters in the facility and inspecting the area and watching the other kids like a hawk to see how things were handled. I am, like Will says, the "overprotective" mother who can't let her child go. Will is good about reminding me that boys need to have a little dirt on their pants and kids do fall down. I am going to try not worry too much since I can check on Braylon any time I want during my workout. I think it's going to be great to have family gym time together in the evenings. I always find a good workout refreshing for the body, mind and soul!

Side Note: Braylon only cried for 15 minutes toward the end of the hour when he heard another baby crying and then the parent came in to pick up their baby.
